From Debbie Jones: "When my spouse was a junior at MBBC, he wanted to have a date for the Junior/Senior banquet, but he had a real dilemma because he was not allowed to date the Academy girl whom he really liked. As a result, his best friend suggested that he ask me to go with him as a friend since we all knew each other from our weekend extension work. Although we had no real interest in each other, he did ask me to go with him and I accepted. Of course, he had to get his girlfriend's permission first. Two weeks before our date, however, he and his girlfriend broke up. To our surprise, we had such a good time together at the banquet that we never stopped dating each other."
